The rhythm within
Welcome to the story of Echo Rae DJ services in Portland, Tennessee. My journey into DJing represents the belief that creativity should never be limited by circumstances. As a blind and deaf DJ, I turn electronic beats, dubstep, country, Latin, hip hop, and EDM into a deeply shared physical connection. Echo Rae isn't asking whether the dream is possible; she is building toward it every single day.

Feeling the vibration and connecting with the dance floor
Music is something I experience through vibration, movement, and raw energy. I feel the beat directly through the floor, the speakers, and the people dancing around me. Being blind and deaf has given me a distinctive way of experiencing sound—not by hearing or seeing it, but by feeling its pulse and letting that guide every transition. A live set is all about turning sound into something physical, emotional, and shared on the dance floor.

The spark, the breakthrough, and muscle memory
My passion began as a child watching an MC Hammer video showing a DJ spinning vinyl, but when an eye disease took my eyesight, that dream felt out of reach. Everything changed last November when I experienced a club DJ live, reawakening that spark. Last June, I stepped up for open decks at the club The Office. Guided by my coach Boambee to balance my EQ and transition between built-in tracks, I stepped up into the dark. My brain, touch, and muscle memory took over, feeling the distances across the gear as the songs lit up. Walking off that stage, I knew nothing could hold me back.

A mission of accessibility and limitless dreams
Through technology, perseverance, and a growing community, every club appearance and private event is another step toward building a stage where inclusion, accessibility, and electronic music thrive together. From easy listening to high-energy club anthems, I bring total energy and passion behind the decks to prove that limitations only exist until we break past them.
"No matter how hard or impossible a dream may seem, nothing is impossible when we remove the limitations that we or others put on us. There really is magic within us. We just have to break the well open and release that magic and watch what happens."
